Empty Spaces

I felt dehumanised for much of my life in Iran. As a woman raised in a minority religious community, my family and I faced severe discrimination. This dehumanising experience left my sufferings ignored and unexpressed, making many of my experiences feel denied yet impossible to erase.

In 'Empty Spaces,' I explored objects that can only be identified through their absence. Many artworks in this series consist of two pieces, each offering a different perspective. The project focuses on the concept of empty spaces and the challenge of showing presence through absence.
